Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025

Motion Graphics
On-Screen Design

To celebrate one of the world’s most prominent female sports tournaments, we crafted a one-of-a-kind, dynamic motion graphics title sequence with 16 bespoke artworks from each competing nation. The brief to the 16 female artists was to capture the adventure and spirit of rugby while showcasing their culture in their original artwork style. We then took these artworks and created a seamless animated sequence using the World Rugby 2025 logo motif as a transition device.  In addition to the title sequence, HBS and World Rugby entrusted us with the world feed match graphics system.

Match Graphics System

The match graphic system combines bold brand colours with asymmetrical trapezoids that draws attention to the key match data as the tournament progresses. This was created to appeal to a global audience; a system complete with inbuilt narrative support such as score value indication in the score bug, introducing newcomers to the sport for the twists and turns of each high-stakes match.
