Cricket Live 2024

For our third consecutive package design for India’s premium Cricket Live Show on Star Sports, we were tasked to take it up to the next level for the potential 500 million+ viewership. We brought to life the energy of each team franchise and did this utilising a blend of innovative 2D, 3D motion graphics and thought.

Team emblems were rebuilt in 3D with specific internal lighting systems and energy patterns. Each team was researched and designated a bespoke energy vortex to orbit the badge; all based on geographical location, regional culture and mythology of each specific team. The teams had now become centre-stage and were applied to the show and match graphics systems, electrifying the viewer experience of the show, whilst still delivering the sports data and statistics.

The finishing touch was to treat each team’s champion players and place them within the looping vortex creating a vibrant juxtaposition and dynamic layout for each clash. The titles sequence introduced this energetic universe of teams and the heroes of the game in a kinetic voyage of discovery for the viewer.
